The Vision

Reaching into the past to illuminate the present.

Rhapsody Decoded is the creative vessel of Danielle Razik — a San Jose-based visionary artist, fine crafter, community organizer, and teaching artist whose work lives at the intersection of healing, history, and human connection.

With a degree in Anthropology from UC Santa Cruz and an extensive background in humanitarian aid, Danni's practice is rooted in cultural studies, social emotional learning, and a deep reverence for the resilience of her ancestors — revolutionary South Pacific bloodlines who survived and alchemized centuries of colonization, genocide, and war into a culture of profound respect and familial pride.

Her visionary paintings and photographs reach into the past to illuminate the present, blending playfulness and pain, lyric and rhythm, and states of being that resist easy naming. Through art therapy, she creates space for healing from trauma, codependency, and the societal narratives that tell people they are not enough.

An active uplifter of her peers and community, Danni weaves personal narrative, social anthropology, mental health advocacy, and cultural exploration into work that is as emotionally generous as it is visually arresting.
